Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Office Operations Specialist to join our team at Reno. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling guest billing and reservations, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with all aspects of hotel billing, including resolving billing disputes and applying guest charges or comps to reservations.
  • Handle incoming calls and perform callbacks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Run referral/denial reports, distribute a list of rooms with outstanding balances to the Manager on Duty, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Work with sales and group sales to ensure all billing inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as a role model to other team members, exemplifying our core values, family-style service, and DEI culture.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to perform above-average mathematical skills, type 35 wpm, and possess PC skills, including Word and Excel.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in an office environment, with frequent use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, and multi-line phone systems. The position also requires constant sitting and standing, as well as the ability to move freely and easily.
