Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Meruelo Group. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, adapting to any changes or requests
  • Secure payment and verify billing, making adjustments as needed
  • Perform tasks such as answering phones, maintaining a cash drawer, and operating office equipment
  • Use computer systems to make reservations, check-in and check-out hotel guests, and process payments
  • Maintain current knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries
  • Provide exceptional service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests' needs
  • Post and balance room charges to guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure guest and hotel safety by knowing all safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Promptly handle guest service requests and complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank securely at the end of each shift
Requirements
  • Previous hotel reservation experience required
  • At least 6 months of guest service experience
  • 2 years minimum practical experience, or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of hotel-based systems, such as AS400, Passkey, and Delphi
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Excel
