· Offers expert consultation to management on human resource-related matters. Serves as the primary HR liaison for all personnel-related inquiries. Provides insights and recommendations on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession strategies. Demonstrates a keen understanding of the specific needs of assigned departments, fostering a collaborative relationship with leadership. Reviews job descriptions and suggests enhancements as necessary. May participate in departmental meetings as required.

· Advises employees on human resource-related issues, offering guidance on benefits, policies, and procedures. Aids in resolving concerns proactively before they escalate. Reviews employee grievances and ensures timely and accurate documentation of issues. Facilitates resolution processes and escalates matters to the appropriate management team when necessary. Conducts departmental and individual focus surveys as needed. Seeks opportunities to engage with business leaders and employees in neutral settings to strengthen relationships.

· Evaluates and interviews candidates to recommend top talent to management based on qualifications, experience, interviews, references, and assessments (if applicable). Plans and implements recruitment initiatives to broaden the applicant pool. Collaborates with department leadership to devise strategic action plans. Identifies and attracts a diverse range of candidates aligned with the organization's goals and provides coaching to leaders as needed. Establishes and nurtures positive relationships with external resources to enhance recruitment efforts.

· Actively participates in the delivery of new employee onboarding sessions.

· Completes and processes administrative tasks (e.g., transfers, changes in employment status, adding or inactivating job assignments) for partners in their recruitment areas. Verifies new hire eligibility for necessary licenses and educational qualifications. Conducts audits and follows up on mandatory training and expired licenses and certifications.

· Utilizes investigative tools to conduct thorough inquiries regarding complaints or allegations, prepares accurate documentation, and recommends appropriate actions. Provides coaching and mentoring to leadership to enhance performance management. Demonstrates an understanding of company policies and relevant legal considerations.

· Represents the organization at unemployment hearings, consistently achieving favorable outcomes in contested cases. Represents the organization at EEOC hearings and assists in coordinating information with internal and external legal counsel. Understands the strengths and weaknesses of claims and formulates effective defense strategies.

· Demonstrates the capability to contribute to and complete special projects. Maintains an active role in the Human Resource community within the company's market area. Involves other HR team members and external stakeholders as appropriate.

· Performs additional duties and projects as assigned, based on organizational needs, skill sets, and interests.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.
