Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist-Per Diem

At Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist-Per Diem to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitative and support services to youth and families, empowering them to live safely, productively, and independently within their home community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain positive partnerships with referring agencies and staff, ensuring timely and effective communication regarding case activities.
  • Provide rehabilitative and supportive services to youth and families under the Medicaid Managed Care CFTSS programs, offering supportive interventions driven by treatment, service, and discharge plans.
  • Complete all state-mandated and agency documentation according to policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, attending internal and external meetings and case reviews.
  • Deliver rehabilitative psychoeducation and supports, strengths-based service planning, and strategies for success.
  • Facilitate personal and community competence, daily living skills, and community integration to restore, rehabilitate, and support youth and families.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
  • Requires 2 years of applicable experience with children (mental health, foster care, child welfare, juvenile justice, or related human services).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion, knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving history.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including after-school hours and evenings as necessary.
Salary Range:
  • Minimums and maximums may vary based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
  • Bachelor's + 2 years' experience: $20.91/hour.
  • Bachelor's + 5 years' experience: $21.63/hour.
