Job Opportunity

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school district in Virginia to find a Full-Time Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized orientation and mobility programs for students with visual impairments.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' current skills and needs related to orientation and mobility.
  • Support approximately 14 students.
Requirements
  • Certification from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) or equivalent.
  • A criminal history check is required prior to the start date.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
