Medical Telemetry Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Medical Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and neurological disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor patients' medical conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • 1 year of experience in Medical Telemetry or a related field.
