Job Title: Assistant Residential Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Residential Manager to join our team at League School for Autism. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our students.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Residential Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of the residence, including supervising staff, managing medication administration, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will also be responsible for communicating with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for our students.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Manage medication administration, including dispensing medications and ensuring accurate documentation.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, including phone logs, behavior charts, and incident reports.
  4. Communicate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for our students.
  5. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and policies.
  6. Perform other related duties as directed by League School administration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or relevant experience working in a residential program for children with special needs.
  • Experience supervising staff preferred.
  • Safety Care, CPR, and First Aid certifications (will provide training).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass CORI background check.
