Job Title: Assistant Residential Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Residential Manager to join our team at League School for Autism. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and success of our students.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Residential Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of the residence, including supervising staff, managing resident care, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals in providing high-quality care to residents
  • Manage resident care, including medication administration, behavior management, and daily living skills
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment, including fire drill procedures, emergency exits, and first aid
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and League School policies
  • Perform other related duties as directed by League School administration
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or relevant experience working in a residential program for children with special needs
  • Experience supervising staff preferred
  • Safety Care, CPR, and First Aid certifications (will provide training)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass CORI background check
