Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care utilizing the Float CMA Process
- Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures
- Obtain and record vital signs, administer medications, and perform routine tests
- Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follow up to ensure completion
- Document patient plans of care, test results, and examination results in the medical record
- Communicate with patients regarding test results and plan of care
- Prepares, cleans, and sterilizes instruments and maintains equipment
- Ensures patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA Certified Medical Assistant certification
- One year Medical Assistant experience within the last three years
- ACLS or BCLS certification preferred
