Position Overview

Our client, a leader in the transportation sector, is in search of an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer with 3-5 years of expertise in utilizing monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace or CloudWatch. This position is vital for maintaining the uninterrupted functionality of railway systems, managing service disruptions, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Address IT and Telecom service disruptions specific to railway operations while ensuring system availability.
  • System Monitoring: Improve monitoring tools and methodologies to boost the performance of railway systems.
  • Incident Response: Manage escalations and provide monitoring assistance during significant incidents impacting rail infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in event monitoring, DevOps, or IT incident management, ideally within a transport or infrastructure context. Proficiency in Dynatrace is REQUIRED.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or similar tools; scripting capabilities (Python, Bash); experience with distributed systems (Windows, Unix, Linux).
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Certifications: ITIL, cloud certifications (AWS, Azure), and familiarity with infrastructure as code tools are advantageous.
