About the Role

As a Branch Manager at Beacon Building Products, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of a profit center, including operations and administration. Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Sales Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a team of sales professionals, working closely with other departments to drive business growth and revenue.

  • Strategic Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on trend analysis and market research to identify profitable business opportunities and drive growth.

  • Vendor Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, leveraging manufacturer information to market products and services.

  • Safety Culture: Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees understand and follow safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience.

  • Leadership Experience: Prior leadership experience in the industry, with a proven track record of success.

  • Language Skills: Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.

  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Leadership Skills: Refined leadership skills, including managerial and supervisory experience, and the ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
