Essential Qualifications:
Candidate must be open to commuting for an on-site position with the flexibility of one remote workday after a specified period.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in direct billing and invoicing processes.
Familiarity with Progress Billing or Lump Sum Billing methodologies is required.
Proficient in creating Look-Ups and Pivot Tables using Excel.
Experience in billing within sectors such as Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, or Healthcare is highly desirable.
Ability to collaborate directly with field technicians, project managers, or sales teams to verify and validate billing data.
Experience in generating and reviewing Purchase Orders and Invoices.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Great Plains, SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards is beneficial.
Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for the prompt and precise preparation of billing and costing for service work performed by technicians and project managers.
Handling credits and rebills due to various reasons, including prior billing discrepancies.
Experience in billing clients through electronic means and managing online billing invoices.
Data entry tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by the Service Business Processes Manager or Billing and Dispatch Supervisor.
This position is a contract role with the potential for permanent employment.
Annual compensation ranges from $56,160 to $62,400.
