Medical Office Coordinator

This position plays a crucial role in centralized patient appointment scheduling at Deaconess. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to provide a positive patient-oriented experience for all customers, whether over the phone or in person.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and reschedule appointments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information.
- Obtain demographic, insurance, and other related information from patients during registration.
- Assist with coordinating patient payments, posting charges, issuing receipts, and posting payments.
- Travel to various locations as designated by the scheduling Practice Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
