About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver with Interim HealthCare in Walnut Creek, CA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need of personal care services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Help clients maintain their physical health by assisting with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
  • Document client conditions and notify supervisors of any concerns or changes.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration in CA.
  • At least six months of experience in a healthcare role (preferably).
  • CPR certification.
  • A valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and helping nature.
