Job Title: Bank Dispute Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bank Dispute Analyst to join our team at Aloden, Inc. This role offers the opportunity to thrive in a team-focused environment dedicated to providing world-class service.

The primary responsibility of this position is to detect suspicious activity from multiple sources, including detection software, internal systems, reports, and external referrals. Emphasis will be on familiarity with relevant datasets, maintaining MIS (Management Information Systems), and identifying emerging fraud trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop queries, analyses, and reports to monitor and identify fraud trends.
  • Maintain accurate and timely daily/weekly/monthly MIS.
  • Create and manage decision effectiveness metrics for fraud and disputes, revising strategies as needed.
  • Support fraud detection through data analysis, real-time strategy building, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with management to identify fraud risk gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Provide analytical support for ongoing fraud investigations.
  • Ensure controls are in place for detecting and preventing suspicious activity using automated systems, reports, and other tools.
  • Articulate findings and make recommendations as needed.
  • Utilize BI/reporting tools like Excel and SQL.
  • Collaborate with other business teams to ensure consistent reporting and minimize redundancy.
  • Assist in investigating and monitoring fraud claims until resolved.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will also need to be familiar with relevant datasets and have experience with MIS and BI/reporting tools.
