Network Systems Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Specialist to join our team at Orangeburg County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, server administration, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and monitor local and wide area networks, systems, and technical duties.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software systems.
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and overhauls.
  • Provide user support and training for end users.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or specialized courses/training equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college in network administration, server administration, or a closely related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in network and server administration, systems, or closely related experience.
  • Experience with Comptia Network and A+ preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

  • Performs light to medium work that involves walking or standing virtually all the time.
  • Exerts between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis.
