EDI Operations Specialist II

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Operations Associate II to join our team. This is a contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Columbia, SC (onsite).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support to various customers, including submitter communities, as well as internal support via analysis and research into EDI-related issues.
- 60% Deliver quality and timely internal and external customer technical support and service for insurance contracts assigned.
- This includes supporting communication interfaces and transactions, as well as requirements related to insurance laws such as claims, remit advice, and enrollment support.
- 40% Responsible for setting up electronic transaction submissions by processing enrolment applications, updating associated system files, and managing customer notifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- EDI expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a good understanding of Medicare regulations.
- A strong system research and analysis background, along with working knowledge of relevant EDI software and tools used by the company or contract.
- Excellent organizational, judgment, customer service, and both verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Associate Degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or another job-related field.
- 2 years of technical operations support experience or applicable experience.
- 2 years of applicable EDI experience. 3 years preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $21.15-$22.56 per hour. The employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave depending on the work location.

The typical office environment requires the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and work effectively under deadlines.
