Job Title: Spanish ELAR Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Spanish ELAR teacher to join our team at International Leadership of Texas. As a Spanish ELAR teacher, you will be responsible for providing students with a comprehensive education in Spanish language and literature, while also developing their critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  2. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure student growth and achievement.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
  4. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success.
  5. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
  • Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One-year student teaching or approved internship experience.
  • Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
  • Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
