Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced R&D Site Manager to oversee the vegetable operations at our Immokalee, FL location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 30-35 people and ensuring the smooth growth and harvest of our vegetable process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full growing process of vegetables, including storm control and other factors that can hinder plant growth.
  • Interface with field workers, breeding workers, pathologists, and other stakeholders to solve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve vegetable operations and increase efficiency.
  • Lead a team of 30+ people and provide guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in R&D or fieldwork within the agriculture industry.
  • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or similar field.
  • Experience with leading a team of 30+ people.
  • Background and experience managing and overseeing the full growing process of vegetables or plants.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • MS Office experience.
