Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking an experienced R&D Site Manager to oversee the office and team at our Immokalee, FL location. As a key member of our agricultural industry team, you will be responsible for managing vegetable operations and the entire growth and harvest process. This includes interfacing with field workers, breeding workers, pathologists, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the vegetable growth cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 30-35 people at the Immokalee, FL location
- Oversee vegetable operations and the entire growth and harvest process
- Interface with field workers, breeding workers, pathologists, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
- Develop and implement strategies to improve vegetable growth and yield
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in R&D or fieldwork within the agriculture industry
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or similar field
- Experience with leading a team of 30+ people
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Background and experience managing and overseeing the full growing process of vegetables or plants
- MS Office experience
