Job Title: Field Service Representative

Join Brightpath Associates LLC as a Field Service Representative and take on a challenging role that requires technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

Job Summary

The Field Service Representative will provide technical support to customers by performing installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of systems at customer facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated systems, electro-mechanical systems, and computer networking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform software and hardware preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Perform software and hardware emergency break fix service calls
  • Ensure all devices sold are operating and functional
  • Schedule 3rd party resources for preventive maintenance
  • Monitor and support 3rd party resources for emergency break fix service calls
  • Support facility IT group with enhancements or upgrades
  • Work with facility to schedule downtime for maintenance
  • Provide summary of work performed to facility
  • Facilitate company to company interactions and take responsibility for client relationships
  • Make recommendations for improving reliability and serviceability of systems
  • Responsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and reports
  • Responsible for following up on open issues, tickets, and escalations
Requirements
  • 7+ years of direct field service experience troubleshooting and repairing computerized electro-mechanical systems
  • 7+ years of experience working in a service capacity with direct customer interaction
  • Diploma or degree in a technical field including mechanical, electrical, computer, or biomedical
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi PLC, and computer networking
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and deal with stressful situations
Work Environment

The Field Service Representative will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to customer facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have excellent communication skills.
