About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Seegrid. As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of Seegrid, providing exceptional onsite service and timely resolutions for our customers located across Michigan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site troubleshooting, repair, and testing tasks for powered industrial trucks, robotic, and vision-guided systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to improve reliability and prevent failures.
  • Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environment.
  • Coach customer staff on safety, equipment operation, and maintenance best practices.
  • Maintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
  • Remain prepared for customer service calls, which may require local travel on short notice.
  • Take ownership of ongoing skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainings.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in electrical/mechanical technology or at least 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work long hours in noisy and busy environments.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong customer interface with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good technical knowledge of Windows and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Flint, Lansing, and Detroit while maintaining a clean driving record.
  • Must be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Linux experience.
