What Qualifications Are Required for a Nutritional Services Assistant at McGregor?
- Must exhibit reliability with scheduled shifts.
- Previous experience in dietary services is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
What Responsibilities Will I Have as a Nutritional Services Assistant at McGregor?
- Set dining tables and serve meals and beverages following established protocols.
- Monitor and document food and refrigeration temperatures in accordance with guidelines.
- Prepare and serve portions of beverages, salads, and desserts.
- Collect used dishware, clean and sanitize tables, and remove debris from the dining area; assist with dishwashing as required.
- Wash kitchen utensils, pots, and trays; maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks; plan dishwashing activities to ensure availability of necessary equipment.
- Keep kitchen floors clean by sweeping and mopping.
- Sort and dispose of waste and garbage in designated receptacles; maintain cleanliness of garbage containers.
