Registered Dietitian (Part-Time) Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Bon Secours Regional Medical Center Lorain in Lorain, OH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in guiding patients, families, and facility staff on all aspects of medical nutrition therapy to create a healthy and healing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for inpatient and outpatient care
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, nursing, and food service staff on nutritional needs and best practices
  • Document patient nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record, ensuring accurate and timely communication with healthcare teams
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure patients receive optimal nutritional care
  • Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements, ensuring seamless execution and patient satisfaction
  • Participate in patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance and quality care

Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
