Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease Institute is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team of passionate and dedicated caregivers. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing individualized medical nutrition therapy, education, and counseling to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field, and be currently licensed to practice dietetics in the state. Active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) is also required.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized medical nutrition therapy, education, and counseling to patients
  • Implementing nutritional care plans, communicating plans, establishing a follow-up system, and maintaining documentation
  • Writing changes for diet orders, initiating nutrient intake assessments, assessing patients for nutritional deficiencies, evaluating fluids and electrolytes, reviewing laboratory and clinical progress notes, and informing physicians of their patients' nutritional status and need for diet changes
  • Creating and revising education materials, participating in program development, and developing, implementing, and marketing services
  • Supporting the dietetic internship program as a supervised practice rotation preceptor and class instructor
