About the Role

At EP & Co., we are seeking an experienced Digital Development Leader to join our Creative Technology team. This is a unique opportunity to oversee technical work streams and manage a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support in their professional growth.
    • Collaborate with resource managers to ensure project roadmaps can be delivered.
    • Partner with Creative Tech operations to assess when and how to scale up resources.
  • DevOps & Infrastructure Knowledge
    • Apply your understanding of DevOps to optimize deployment pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to streamline and improve workflows.
  • Development Expertise
    • Serve as a technical authority on how to develop and architect products.
    • Oversee the technical execution of projects, reviewing code and providing direction on best practices in development, architecture, security, and performance optimization.
  • Technology Exploration & Implementation
    • Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and experiment with new tools and approaches to improve client solutions and internal processes.
    • Lead efforts to evaluate and adopt technologies that enhance project delivery and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Solid experience with DevOps processes, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and Docker.
  • Strong technical expertise with modern development stacks (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js, .NET, C#, relational and NoSQL based databases, etc.).
  • Proven experience in software architecture, code reviews, and guiding development best practices.
  • Interest and ability to explore and adopt emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, marketing automation, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, creative, or advertising environment is preferred, but not required.

Salary Estimate:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
