Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional with substantial experience in SAP. Previous experience in Planning or Procurement is advantageous.

Essential Qualifications:

Proven expertise in SAP and Materials Planning is required, along with hands-on experience in a real-world SAP environment.

  • Demonstrated ability in implementing material and production planning, as well as inventory management within the aerospace sector.
  • Engagement in the execution and adherence to policies, procedures, and material control systems is expected.
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve issues within and beyond the immediate work area, ensuring materials are ordered and available to meet organizational needs while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Leadership skills to guide project teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to achieve performance metrics.
  • Participate in the complete materials operation process.
  • Adhere to the Company Operating System.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols.
  • Address material-related challenges.
  • Facilitate coordination among purchasing, production, and engineering departments.
  • Issue production orders to the shop floor.
  • Maintain the execution schedule.
  • Identify supply shortages for critical products and escalate as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Planning experience in a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of manufacturing planning processes is preferred; a Bachelor's Degree is desirable.
  • Extensive experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies, six sigma tools, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Knowledge in Project Management.
  • Strong background in Materials Management.
