Job Title: Residential Designer

eLoghomes, a leading log home kit manufacturer, is seeking an Architectural Designer with residential construction experience. The company and position are based in Nash County, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete preliminary SRTS, construction documents, and other related documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Utilize project management technology to coordinate designs according to customer needs.
  • Interact with 3rd party structural engineering firms as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and other 3D computer drafting and modeling software.
  • Experience with Sketchup and Revit a plus.
  • Knowledge of residential building codes preferred.
  • Ability to perform material take-offs preferred.
  • Experience producing bill of materials a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of drafting experience
