Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of critical areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership team to establish strategic approaches for Human Resources functions.
  • Provide full supervision and monitor performance of assigned staff.
  • Develop and ensure sound policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Participate in and/or facilitate a variety of meetings/work groups internally and externally as a representative of HR/OCO.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to gain the cooperation of others with diplomacy.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving positive change.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures, relevant policies, labor laws, and regulations.
