Job Summary

As an Operations Technology Infrastructure Engineer I/II, you will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, supporting, and training the distributed computing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of infrastructure expertise, including intel-based compute, compute hypervisors, file/block storage, Windows operating systems, and a wide range of infrastructure applications such as Active Directory, database services, and numerous business applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, test, implement, maintain, support, and train the distributed computing environment.
  • Provide technical guidance, recommend, and deploy solutions to support technical standards.
  • Support the day-to-day Operations Technologies operation of MSD's infrastructure solution portfolio, which includes a wide range of business services and applications.
  • Deploy resilient systems while ensuring incidents and problems are expeditiously classified, prioritized, and remedied.
  • Build strong, mutually respectful relationships with other MSD divisions, including Information Technology and Engineering, to facilitate broad cooperation, mutual support, economies of scale, efficiencies, and team learning.
  • Approach job duties with security in mind, building and maintaining secure/available solutions supporting security audits, vulnerability scans, efficient backups, and timely recoveries.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological developments and advancements.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Operations Technology Infrastructure Engineer I).
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Operations Technology Infrastructure Engineer II).
  • Four or more years of related experience (Operations Technology Infrastructure Engineer II).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Safe work and driving habits.
