Experienced Aircraft Structures Technician

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team at Columbia Helicopters. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing structural maintenance and alterations, fabricating structural parts, and performing aircraft maintenance, preventive maintenance, and teardown and assembly of aircraft components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform assigned tasks.
- Assist in inspecting aircraft structures and airframe systems and parts, following defined inspection programs and utilizing visual inspection techniques or inspection aids as required.
- Replace or repair damaged or worn aircraft structural parts or perform structural alterations using general hand tools and pneumatic tools and structural repair equipment.
- Perform removal, assembly, and replacement of aircraft component or system parts as required.
- Perform all applicable flight control maintenance up to and including rigging.
- Assist in functional check flights.
- Properly document all inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records to meet established standards.
- Maintain work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practicing proper tool and FOD control.
- Perform work safely and utilize the appropriate technical data for the assigned task.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or technical training is preferred.
- Requires 10+ years' mechanical experience and a strong aptitude for acquiring new mechanical skills and knowledge.
- Airframe and powerplant preferred.
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience in a FAR Part 145 repair station environment and/or 135 air carrier maintenance experience and/or military experience preferred.
