Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Repair Specialist - Helicopter Structures Mechanic to work in a dynamic Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft structures and be proficient in disassembling, repairing, fabricating, and reassembling helicopter airframes.

Responsibilities:

As an Aircraft Repair Specialist - Helicopter Structures Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling helicopter airframes, including the Boeing CH-47
  • Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals and blueprints
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, and fabricate replacement parts
  • Drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerance
  • Riveting and countersinking

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in aircraft structures
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance manuals and blueprints
  • Proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and machine tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $28-$32 per hour, with a daily per diem of $166 (total compensation $52).
