Core Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight:
  • Direct and manage all clinical services, fostering positive relationships among nursing staff, medical professionals, residents, and families.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage wage adjustments.
  • Assess staffing needs to ensure adequate nursing care for residents.
  • Develop and maintain staffing schedules that align with budgetary constraints.
  • Implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Facilitate regular departmental meetings to ensure effective communication.
  • Review and approve timecards and overtime requests.
Clinical Management:
  • Establish and revise clinical standards and documentation practices.
  • Oversee the admission and discharge processes, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Protect and uphold resident rights and responsibilities.
  • Maintain strong communication with residents and their families to promote independence.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate care.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Leadership and Development:
  • Supervise nursing staff to guarantee high-quality care delivery.
  • Manage resources efficiently to optimize care services.
  • Evaluate care standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure safe medication management practices are followed.
  • Participate in community and departmental meetings as required.
