Key Responsibilities- Clinical Support
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Measure and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Administrative Support
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records, both electronic and hard copy.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, communicating with patients, and managing patient flow.
- Develop and maintain databases for scheduling, patient communication, and knowledge management.
- Quality Improvement
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Education
- Associate's degree in medical assistance or a related field.
- Experience
- One or more years of experience as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of patient management software systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Language Skills
- Fluency in more than one language, including American Sign Language.
- Inventory Management
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management processes.
