About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort during the x-ray exam.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures to protect patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow all Radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
Additional Duties
  • Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Prepare patients for physical examinations, including vital signs and ancillary testing.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatment.
  • Responsible for performing routine medical procedures as ordered by the treating clinician.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license (if applicable).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
