About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations, medical procedures, and testing under the direct supervision of a treating clinician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms, and providing verbal and written instructions.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, positioning equipment and adjusting controls to ensure optimal results.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and colleagues.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow radiology workflows, complete required documentation, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain x-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping, in accordance with current policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Certifications and/or licenses: Completion of a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Customarily has at least six months of demonstrated experience in X-Ray and familiarity with routine medical procedures.
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred, with prior medical office, healthcare, and/or customer service-related experience.
