Overview
The Seasonal Petroleum Delivery Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of fuel products to both residential and commercial clients. This role requires a commitment to customer service and adherence to safety protocols while representing the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance needs
- Review delivery manifests, load trucks, and execute deliveries in compliance with regulations
- Maintain high standards of customer service, efficiency, and productivity during deliveries
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and routing specialists
- Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean uniform
- Utilize handheld devices proficiently for delivery management
- Foster positive customer relations through respectful interactions
- Keep the delivery vehicle organized and stocked with necessary tools and safety equipment
- Be available for on-call duties during nights and weekends
- Perform necessary tasks for customers who are out of fuel
- Engage in cross-training opportunities as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Hazmat endorsement is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and detail orientation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work weekends during peak seasons
- Commitment to safety practices
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess previous truck driving experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Class B Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials endorsement required
- CETP training and certification necessary for propane delivery
- Apprentice oil burner license required for oil delivery drivers
- Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical examination
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
Work Environment:
This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to fumes and moderate noise levels. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
