Position Title: Healthcare Provider


Location: Wellness Center

Reports To: Medical Director and Manager

Position Summary:

We are in search of a committed and empathetic Healthcare Provider to become a part of our team at the Wellness Center. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive aesthetic and health services, emphasizing preventive care, wellness, beauty, and management of chronic conditions.

This position entails direct patient interaction, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to enhance overall health and wellness. Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments.

- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health issues.

- Formulate and execute personalized care strategies.

- Track patient progress and modify treatments as required.

2. Preventive Care:

- Advise on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes.

- Carry out health screenings and risk evaluations.

- Inform patients about disease prevention and health upkeep.

3. Collaborative Care:

- Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions regarding patient cases.

- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed.

4. Patient Education:

- Guide patients in managing chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension.

- Provide details on wellness initiatives and resources available at the center.

- Offer counseling on smoking cessation, weight management, and stress relief.

- Provide beauty therapies such as laser hair removal and more.

5. Administrative Duties:

- Record patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans in electronic medical records.

- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.

- Participate in quality enhancement initiatives.

- Collaborate with industry partners to expand healthcare infrastructure.

- Assist in creating and implementing wellness programs and services.

6. Clinical Procedures:

- Perform minor surgical tasks, including suturing and wound management.

- Conduct diagnostic assessments, such as blood draws and EKGs.

- Execute aesthetic procedures like laser hair removal and injectables.

7. Health Promotion:

- Organize and engage in community outreach and health education activities.

- Develop educational resources and programs to advocate for healthy living.

- Champion patient health and wellness within the community.

8. Professional Development:

- Stay updated with medical advancements and knowledge in the field.

- Attend continuing education and professional growth opportunities.

- Maintain certification and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.

- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.

- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a wellness or preventive care setting.

- Strong clinical acumen and understanding of primary care and preventive health.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Dedication to patient-centered care and wellness.
