Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish or Creole in addition to English, ensuring effective communication with our diverse patient population. This well-established health center operates with a significant budget and is federally qualified, providing a supportive environment for our medical staff.

Work Schedule

This is a salaried role with a typical commitment of 45-60 hours per week. Our current pediatricians have been averaging 8 hours per day since the beginning of the year, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Supportive Staff

You will benefit from a highly skilled support team, including:

  • At least one scribe
  • One Medical Assistant (MA)
  • Patient-centered medical home coordinator
  • Immunization nurse
  • Referrals clerk
  • Medication prior authorization specialist

This structure allows you to focus primarily on patient care.

Patient Care Expectations

The expectation is to see approximately 22 patients per day, with an annual total of around 225 days of patient interaction. The base salary starts at $160,000, with the potential to exceed $200,000 based on patient volume.

Benefits

  • 5 weeks of vacation (plus compensation for unused vacation days)

  • 5 CME days (Continuing Medical Education) paid
  • 6 sick days
  • After four years, vacation increases to 4 weeks
