Job Summary:

The Restaurant Service Associate is a key member of the Platinum Companies team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience from start to finish.
  • Take food and beverage orders, prepare and serve meals and drinks to guests, adhering to company and brand standards.
  • Prepare food items according to recipes and quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage orders and presentation prior to serving.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and small appliances, including dishwashing machines and sanitizing stations.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing restaurant facilities, preparing and serving food and beverage offerings, and stocking inventory.
  • Monitor food, chemicals, and water temperature throughout the day, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Perform routine inspections of food and beverage areas, equipment, and storage facilities to maintain safety and compliance with local ordinances and company standards.
  • Effectively communicate with management to prepare and submit purchase requests and ensure adequate inventory.
  • Complete all closing reports in the POS system and maintain accurate records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A food service permit or valid health/food handler card(s) and an alcohol awareness certification/ServSafe permit may be required.
  • Professional appearance and grooming must be adhered to at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
  • Possess technical knowledge and aptitude, with MICROS experience preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of safe food handling, presentation, and serving methods.
  • Practice workplace sanitation and overall cleanliness.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to attend and complete job and brand training.
  • Work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands.
  • Stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
