Job Profile Summary:

The Restaurant Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences from start to finish. Key responsibilities include greeting, seating, and serving guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner. Taking food and beverage orders, preparing and serving meals and drinks according to Company and Brand specifications is also a crucial aspect of this role. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitation guidelines, and ensuring guest health and safety are top priorities.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Adhere to Platinum Management Services, LLC. and Brand specific standards.
  2. Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances as they apply to the property, guests, and departmental personnel.
  3. Anticipate and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities.
  4. Notify management immediately of all incidents and injuries.
  5. Take food and beverage orders and input orders in POS system, utilize suggestive/up-selling techniques.
  6. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
  7. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, and microwaves and fryers ensuring proper working order at all times.
  8. Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage orders and presentation prior to serving.
  9. Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements and regulations and Company and Brand standards.
  10. Routinely follow up with guests to ensure their complete satisfaction throughout the meal/food & beverage experience.
  11. Remove trash, tidy lobby and service areas.
  12. Review and follow procedures on Brand and Company Energy Conservation Program and adhere to recycling policies and procedures if applicable.
  13. Receive guest payments and process transactions in accordance with Company policies and Brand standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. A food service permit or valid health/food handler card(s) and an alcohol awareness certification/ServSafe permit may be required in accordance with state and local government agencies, Company and Brand standards.
  2. Professional appearance and grooming must be adhered to at all times. Uniforms must be worn according to Company and Brand standards.
  3. Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
  4. Possess technical knowledge and aptitude. MICROS experience preferred.
  5. Must have knowledge of safe food handling, presentation, and serving methods.
  6. Practice workplace sanitation and overall cleanliness.
  7. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  8. Ability to attend and complete job and Brand training.
  9. Work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands.
