Responsibilities- Provide hands-on care and physical/emotional support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Observe, report, and document resident symptoms and conditions, including changes in skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
- Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells, and notify supervisors and/or Health Care Coordinators of increased care needs.
- Assist with continence management, dispose of continence products properly, and maintain cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
- Serve and collect food trays, report meal refusals or loss of appetite, and maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
- Practice good standard care precautions, including cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
- Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity, and physical safety.
- Participate in and lead activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating.
- Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
- Greet and assist internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
- Perform resident laundry as assigned and needed.
- Medication Tech duties include reviewing service plans, assisting with medication administration, documenting and initialing medication records, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting resident concerns.
- Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CPR Certification preferred.
- First Aid Certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
