Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and deliver care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide direct patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and communication among colleagues.
  • Document patient care and outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
