Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care.
  • Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others, and attend education programs based on identified learning needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and research to improve patient outcomes and promote cost-effective care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of unit goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
