CMTA is a leading engineering firm with a strong commitment to sustainable and high-performance building engineering. We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Administrator to join our team in the Richmond, VA office.

This role will involve managing project specifications, overseeing contract and construction documents, and ensuring compliance with project contract language, current code requirements, and manufacturer information.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction administration, with expertise in spec editing platforms, electronic document management systems, and project coordination.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project specifications and contract documents
  • Coordinating with design team members to produce and deliver quality specifications and construction documents
  • Reviewing, formatting, and editing project specifications
  • Providing office-wide support for all specification needs
  • Overseeing bid document production and schedules for 'Prime' projects
  • Ensuring compliance with project contract language, current code requirements, and manufacturer information
