About the Role

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Administrator to join our team in the Richmond, VA office. This full-time position will be responsible for managing project specifications and overseeing contract and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project specifications and coordinate with design team members to produce and deliver quality specifications and construction documents.
  • Review, format, and edit project specifications to ensure compliance with project contract language, current code requirements, and current manufacturer information.
  • Coordinate specification templates, formats, and schedules with clients and ensure compliance with project contract language.
  • Oversee bid document production and schedules for Prime projects and distribute and coordinate design documents with state and local review agencies.
  • Assist with construction administration document processing activities, including shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and closeout documents.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction administration within the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction field.
  • Knowledgeable of CSI MasterFormat and CDT Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with MasterSpec, VisiSpec, SpecLink, or other spec editing platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems such as Newforma and Procore.
