Role Summary:

  • Extensive background in Systems Engineering and Software Development.
  • Proven expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing contemporary methodologies (code development, unit testing, version control with C#/.NET).
  • High-level scripting capabilities on Windows platforms, particularly in PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Competence in delivering production-ready code with thorough error management and logging, alongside the ability to interpret complex multi-thousand line scripts.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and programming within cloud infrastructures.
  • Experience with PXE boot and bare metal deployment processes, including:
    • Hands-on familiarity with Windows Deployment Services (WDS) or equivalent deployment solutions.
    • Desirable skill: iPXE integration.
  • In-depth understanding of low-level PC hardware and functionalities, particularly security features and remote management capabilities provided by technologies like Intel vPro.
  • Experience in programmatic software integration and hardware abstraction for large-scale deployments, including the integration of enterprise peripheral USB devices into imaging workflows.
  • Minimum proficiency in at least two infrastructure disciplines, such as:
    • Enterprise-scale Windows Operating System management (image creation for Windows 10/Server 2019) and deployment, including endpoint configuration management.
    • Systems programming.
    • Network programming.
  • Experience in large-scale software development using languages such as Java, C#, .NET, etc.
  • Knowledge of system and software security protocols (SSO, Windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows Active Directory).
  • Familiarity with modern computing technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud computing).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and automated testing practices.
  • Proficient in managing extensive infrastructure environments distributed across multiple data centers.
  • Expertise in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration.
  • Experience with systems and application monitoring tools and instrumentation.
