Job Title: Clinical Staff Pharmacist, Inpatient Pharmacy
Location: Louisville, KY
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team at UofL Health. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
About the Role:
- This position will involve providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients and members of the healthcare team.
- You will be responsible for medication order evaluation and verification, drug distribution, sterile and extemporaneous compounding, technical supervision, and clinical services.
Responsibilities:
- Medication order evaluation (to include but not limited to appropriateness and effectiveness) and verification
- Drug distribution support
- Technician supervision
- Clinical intervention
- Formulary management
- Resource for nursing and physician medication related inquiries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Licensed or license eligible as a pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Current board certification by Board of Pharmacy Specialties or must obtain within 2 years from date of hire
- Current certification in Basic Life Support or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification as determined by pharmacy leadership
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Experience: Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency preferred
