Overview: Priority Financial Group, a leader in financial services, is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to enhance our Financial Planning Team in the role of a Paraplanner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Financial Strategies: Collaborate with financial advisors to collect client information and develop detailed financial strategies, encompassing retirement solutions, investment assessments, tax optimization, and estate planning.
  • Market Research and Insights: Perform in-depth research and analysis on diverse financial instruments, investment methodologies, and economic trends to inform client recommendations.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain consistent communication with clients via various channels to collect necessary information, provide updates, and address inquiries.
  • Support for Client Meetings: Assemble materials for client meetings, including presentations, reports, and investment recommendations.
  • Execution Assistance: Work alongside internal teams to ensure the precise and timely execution of financial strategies and recommendations.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure client records and documentation are maintained in accordance with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
  • Administrative Assistance: Offer administrative support to financial advisors, including scheduling client meetings, managing communications, and processing account documentation.
  • Ongoing Education: Stay informed about industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in financial planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline.
  • CFP or CFA designation is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
  • Strong grasp of financial planning principles, investment strategies, and tax considerations.
  • Proficient in financial planning software, including Orion Planning, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and convey insights effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and time management skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses are preferred.
