Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and energetic Camp Activity Coordinator to join our team at The Salvation Army Northwest Division. As a Camp Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for campers, leading activities such as arts and crafts, and encouraging children to come up with ideas that support their interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for campers
  • Lead activities such as arts and crafts and encourage children to come up with ideas that support their interests
  • Oversee the health and safety of campers
  • Utilize approved safety practices
  • Provide appropriate First Aid and submit written reports to Health Supervisor
  • Create and supervise an emotionally healthy environment for campers
  • Complete designated paperwork, reports, etc.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older
  • Child Care/Camp Counseling/Teaching experience
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Able to develop positive rapport with campers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability

Working Conditions: The Camp Activity Coordinator will primarily work within a classroom and outdoor settings on campus. Covid guidelines will be required to be followed.
